Beach Parade Sign-Up
Monday, February 8, 2010 starts things off with sign-up for the beach parade at the museum, located at the Sunshine Mall in South Daytona, FL. Members will be on hand to sign in your vintage race car, race car replica, or flying mile car. Legend drivers wishing to participate in the parade also need to stop by at the museum from 11AM to 4PM.
17th Annual Beach Parade
Tuesday, February 9, 2010 begins with our annual Beach Parade. Participants will meet at the Drive-in Church, 3140 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores at 9AM. The parade enters the beach for spectator viewing and will then proceed north on the beach. After the parade, the vehicles will return to the starting point for addi-tional spectator viewing. Charity Auction
Tuesday, February 9, 2010 beginning at 6Pm, The Living LLOAR Charity Auction, Book signing and Autograph Session will be held at Indigo Golf Club, 312 Indigo Blvd in Daytona Beach, Florida.
This event benefits the Victory Junction Gang. Tickets are $20.00 in advance, $25.00 at the door. Many of our Legends will be on hand to talk with our guests, and sign autographs. The evening’s events will include an auction of race memorabilia.
18th Annual Awards Banquet
Wednesday, February 10, 2010, marks the Living Legends of Auto Racing’s 18th Annual Awards Banquet at the Plaza Resort and Spa, 600 N. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach. The evening begins at 6PM with a cocktail hour (cash bar). Dinner will be served at 7PM. This year the LLOAR will present the following honors. Pioneer of Racing Award, Ralph Liguori, Distinguished Driver Award, Darrell Waltrip, Dedicated Service Award, Jack Roush, Russ Moyer Media Award, Ernie Saxton, Racing Woman of the Year, Dot Gladis, Allison Family Achievement Award, The France Family, Tribute to the Early Days, Earl Sappenfield, Saturday
Night Hero Award, Dave Dion
Reservations are required. Tickets for the banquet are $45.00per person. Corporate tables (preferred seating) are available at $500.00 before November, 15th, 2009. CAR SHOW AT THE PONCE INLET LIGHTHOUSE
