Jack Anderson and Bob Coolidge from the Living Legends of Auto Racing participated in the 2nd annual Darlington Historic Racing Festival. The #3 1961 Pontiac from the Living Legends Museum in South Daytona was taken to the event. Bob drove the car on the track in the stock car group number 1. Two on track sessions of approximately 25 minutes each were scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Jack prepared the car for the event, towed it to Darlington and saw that it passed the rigorous technical inspection.
Many fans that attended the event paid tribute to the Ray Fox built Pontiac and recalled seeing the original racecar in 1961. The pictures show the car in the garage stall, staging in preparation for entrance to the track, and on the track.
