Our Annual Live and Silent Auction, which was held before the Living Legends banquet was a great success, among some items auctioned off were autographed Glen Wood #21 Team shirts,  1:18 scale die cast   Herb Thomas & Tim Flock Hudson Hornets, donated by Jack Miller and Frances Flock, autographed Robert Yates pistons, an autographed Ned Jarrett poster autographed team racing shirts from PPI Motorsports (Travis Kavpil), Bill Davis Racing (Dave Blaney) and Penske Racing South, autographed Kyle Busch & Jimmie Johnson hats from Hendrick Motorsports, embroidered Fish Carburetor hats & shirts from Bob Coolidge, Winston Cup caps donated by Ray Fox and a Smokey Yunick piston from Buddy Clark.  Also an autographed picture of the 2006 NEXTEL Chase drivers and the “official history of NASCAR” book donated by Jim Hunter.  We also had a racing scanner& headset donated by R.E. Racing Electronics  We had race tickets to the NEXTEL All Star Race at Charlotte, tickets to Darlington, Las Vegas, Richmond and Atlanta.

During dinner, we auctioned off the BELL Helmet, which this year had 97  signatures of past and present legends, an autographed Richard Petty Charlie One Horse Hat and a Daytona Club ticket package donated by Larry Overbey.
